Outdoor Fitness Training: A daily escape into the outdoors for people looking for a new and exciting way to improve their health.

If you are tired of exercising inside and want to try something new, then we invite you to join us outdoors. Outdoor Fitness Training (OFT) is an affordable way to begin an exercise program while surrounded by others who share your fitness interests and mindset. Our programs are constantly changing to keep you engaged and having fun. We maintain a low trainer to guest ratio in order to ensure that you are receiving the proper instruction.

Easy Breathing
Although our classes are constantly changing, some examples of what to expect are:
• Various Agility and Balance Drills
• Outdoor Obstacle Courses
• Hiking Up Inclined Trails
• Resistance Band Training
• Stamina Building Endurance Courses

What to expect:
All of our programs meet 3 days per week and are 4 weeks in length. All classes are 60 minutes.
Your OFT Experience will provide you with:

For those who are ready to break a sweat, here is what you can expect during a typical class:
• Outdoor Obstacle Courses • Military Fitness Drills
• Rope Jumping • Resistance Band Training
• Hill Climbing • Sandbag Training
• Ladder Climbs • Various Agility and Balance Drills
• Sprinting and Speed Work • Stamina Building Endurance Courses
• Various Interval Training • Incorporating various Yoga and Pilates exercises to improve flexibility and reduce injury
There are many similarities between the different programs. The most important thing to consider is the intensity. Our certified staff is trained specifically to deliver a training program that meets the expectations of the various fitness levels involved. We understand that “Easy Breathing” means just that. For guests expecting to break a sweat, we promise to deliver exactly what you are looking for.

All programs end with a half-day Outdoor Adventure normally on the weekend. This will allow you to get outside, and experience fun ways to exercise as well as enjoy your new level of fitness acquired during the previous 4 weeks. Participation in this event is completely voluntary. All equipment will be provided as well as hydrating drinks during the event. Recovery drinks and food will be provided afterwards.

Locations and Times - Currently, classes are scheduled to meet at the Paper Mill Road NCR trail parking lot and at Oregon Ridge Park. Those enrolled may choose to attend either of the classes, as daily regimens are the same during both times. Due to recovery needs, we recommend that guests try to stay with the same time each day, however this is not mandatory. Once enrolled, guests will be provided with a schedule outlining where the class will meet during the 4 week program.

Q. What items should I bring?
A. A towel, water bottle (water and an electrolyte replacement drink will be provided in unlimited quantities during all workouts), and appropriate clothing for the weather conditions. We recommend that you dress in layers to allow for temperature changes. Fitness Instructors are available at anytime to answer questions regarding proper clothing.
Q. Does Outdoor Fitness Training include abdominal and core strengthening exercises?
A. We do abdominal and core strengthening exercises during every workout.
Q. Do the workouts include stretching?
A. Stretching is done throughout the workouts as well as at the end.
Q. What do we do in the event of inclement weather?
A. Check website for updates or call 410.937.9991.  Most of the time we will relocate to our indoor facility.  If for some reason this is not an option, then you will be able to make up the class any time you wish.
